Like anyone on Academia.edu I’m bombarded and overwhelmed with potentially relevant titles from them and have had to put a mental block in front of any response to them for fear of information overload. But this title is immensely relevant for me.

Haven’t read it yet but feel it’s worth exploring even if only for references in the end. So storing here
Amazing – that fits exactly with what I’m planning for my next Assignment! Have downloaded it – thanks for the mention.

Oh good! I’ve not read your War of the Worlds post yet – have you been watching the adaptation? I think it’s pretty well done as BBC dramas go.

We’ve been disappointed really – it’s disjointed and the CGI is a bit clumsy. Vienna Murders is better, brings in some of Freud’s ideas contrasting them with electric shock treatment. I hadn’t made that connection before.

My expectations of BBC drama is quite low! Although I think I might quite like dodgy cgi. My kids love to laugh at cheap cgi in various programmes especially Alfie.
